Day 1: ARRIVAL / WELCOME DRINK 

 

Day 2: FOR ENHANCING THE FITNESS

We take the bus, driving approximately 10 minutes to the neighboring town of Punat.

There the boat is waiting for us, which we drive to the ISLAND PLAVNIK with, located between the islands of Krk and Cres.

This is an area where the griffon vultures breed and it is also a protected nature reservoir. From the Bay "KRUŠIJA” we walk approximately 2 hours.

When returning to the ship autochthonous prosciutto of the island as well as cheese and wine is served as a snack.

On the way back we take a boat to the island of Kornati - past the habitat of various types of sea gulls.

Tour duration: 5 hours, easy 

 

Day 3: VELI VRH (541 m) or VELI HLAM (482 m)

For the first time Punat is mentioned in 1377; then the values of the city are lined up in a number of records and writings.

Firstly, there is the Church of the Holy Trinity from 1777 and Maggiotto’s image with the sermon of St. John on the main altar, the sculpture of Anna Samotree (15th century), the old farmhouse from the 18th century, the olive press from the 18th century, the gallery Toš and much more.

Especially many guests are also attracted by the small island Košljun near Punat, an"island on the island,” a natural forest reserve and naturalmonument.

Eight kilometres southeast of Punat below the white limestone, protected from the strong Bora, is with drawn the Stara Baska.

For recreation for walkers, this ancient atmosphere in an interesting environment, which you can reach via shepherd paths and promenades.

From Punat two paths lead to the highest peaks of the island of Krk: Veli vrh (541 m).

Our destination today: Brestovica (558 m), Obzova (568 m), Zminj (537 m) i Veli Hlam (482 m).

The trails are moderately difficult to difficult.

Tour duration: 5 hours, medium difficulty

 

Due to the beautiful view we recommend the route Baška- Veli Hlam- Stara Baska.

Day 4: ISLAND OF CRES – WITH HIKE VALUN CRES

Bus - ferry Valbiska-Merag, continuation to Valun.

Hike from the fishing village Valun - up to the island’s capital -the town of Cres, 12 km path above the beautiful coves and beaches, among the hundred year old olive groves.

The whole time, a view on the mainland is offered: the mountain range Učka and the eastern coast of Istria - Rabac bay. The trail ends at the marina Cres.

Break for lunch in Cres (optional).

Tour duration: 4-5 hours, easy 

 

Day 5: HOMEWARD JOURNEY

- The way in Baska and surroundings with great viewpoint Veli Hlam (difficult)

- The way in Omišalj - Njivice - bay Sepen - Fulfinum-Mirine (easy)

- The way Vrbnik - Gradac - Ruins of castle (difficult)

- The way of Dobrinjština - hill and protected bays (heavy or light – on choice)
